We
specialize in Foundation American Quarter Horses that are not only athletic
but are bred with incredible dispositions and conformation. Take a look
at the pedigrees on our horses and you’ll find cow, cow, and more
cow. We believe that one can “have it all” and that’s
why we add color to the mix.
These
two stallions are kept in the same paddock along with other geldings
which help to ensure their pleasant temperament and behavior. During
breeding season they are not separated but taken out to breed and
returned to their herd daily. This is unheard of in this industry
and yet people are amazed at the way they each get along with their
herd and each other. There is no fighting as there would be if stabled
separately like most breeding facilities do. We believe that nature
created these animals to be together and they shall remain that way
at our ranch.
Mare Care: $6 a day; extra for grains and medications. Feed is specified
by mare owner. Pens are cleaned twice daily and water cleaned daily
as well. Mares can be stalled or pastured.

Nicknamed: "Blue" -
he was born with blue eyes that are now sandy
brown and very appealing. He is a color producer
that passes on his temperament too. He is very
well mannered with people, as well as the mares.
He was raised in the pasture along with mares
and geldings and has no problems getting along.
He is still pastured with geldings, even during
breeding season. Because he was taught from birth
that the mare is in charge, he respects the boundaries
set for him. He is a very quiet stallion, even
tempered, and easy to handle. He
is athletic, intelligent, and well conformed
for show and cow work. He's got powerful hind
quarters and spins on a dime. His eyes are set
forward, as you can see in the photos; this makes
cattle work even easier. Blue produced one buckskin
colt in 2002, and one 2003. One of his 2003 foals
was bought prior to birth by Annette Rippe of Acton Ca.,
Congratulations! She now has a gorgeous buckskin
colt, temporarily with blue eyes. See photo on foal
page.

Due
to an injury from a fencing accident, he did not breed this year.
We are eager to start him this January! Beautiful light dun. This
stallion is the grandson of the one of a kind, biggest money winning,
world renown late Hollywood Dun It. Unfortunately Hollywood Dun It
past away a few months ago but we can keep his name alive and his
spirit seen by his get. This stallion has brawn and brains. He is
a pleasure to ride and to be around.
